This black merino base layer is designed to be worn next to the skin, where unlike other wools it won’t itch or irritate. Because merino is so breathable, it allows your body temperature to regulate itself, helping you to stay cooler when it’s hot outside and warmer when it’s cold out. This base layer can be worn on its own, or teamed with a mid layer for when you need to stay extra warm and comfortable.

Other merino garments are sometimes made of a blend of merino wool and other fibers, or made with only a small percentage of genuine merino wool. This Women’s Base Layer by Orca is made in New Zealand with 100% pure New Zealand merino sourced from the high country farms of the pristine South Island, so you know that you are choosing quality.
